Yixin Chew

This is capsule collection developed for and won the Fashionably Sustainable Competition 2011 organised by Workforce Development Authority (WDA) and Textile & Fashion Federation (TaFf).

In line with the sustainable theme, this collection used hemp, a more water-efficient crop than cotton.

​

The hand painted motifs in the bustier dress with tiered skirt celebrates biomimicry, where spills can be disguised and blended easily with the design.
